Every day, Amazebowls is grateful for the opportunity to serve up quality açaí bowls to our community here in Los Angeles, and to promote the message that good, healthful food should be accessible and fun for all. Our ability to do what we do wouldn’t exist without the hardworking and dedicated people on our team—many from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds.
Today, we’d like to pause and reflect on what it means to be a country that fully embraces diversity, values equality, and is committed to the idea that all of us—no matter who we are or where we come from—shares a common thread of humanity. The recent events at our border have been breaking our hearts, but we’re also encouraged by all the ways that folks in our community, and across America, are taking action, showing up for our immigrant neighbors and families, and living up to these ideals.
In support of this Saturday’s #FamiliesBelongTogetherMarch, come by Amazebowls Arts District on June 30th and pay any amount as you please when you order anything on our menu. 100% of the proceeds that day will go towards @supportkind, an organization that works to provide pro bono legal services to unaccompanied minors and refugee children and advocates on their behalf. We’ll also match the amount and double your impact.
Join us in this movement to #KeepFamiliesTogether and to be part of a community that loves without borders. Learn more about @supportkind at supportKIND.org.
